I am currently developing a 6-DOF robotic arm that brings together mechanical design, robotics, controls, and automation, following strict material properties and manufacturing processes. I am using ANSYS to optimize the structure, MATLAB and the Robotics System Toolbox for the kinematics and control, and eventually Ignition SCADA to monitor and control the full system.
